My publisher, AuthorHouse, is in the process of converting my book to an ebook format. When done, it will be available for all ebook readers including iPhone, iPad etc. It will be available at Authorhouse.com, Amazon.com and many other online retailers.

All wknd on tv, I have been bombarded with a trailer for the "A Team". HELLO! Who cares? Doesn't anyone in Hollywood have an imagination/creativity? Remakes, that's it! I have an original 3 part story with the screen play written for part one. If anyone out there is looking for a great script and story, I have just what You need. And, "THREE PARTS"! "Dragon, Book Of Shang" Screenplay, News & Reviews
It's been quite awhile since I have posted any thing to the blog. However, that does not mean things have not been going on. Obviously, I have also been caught up in the global b*lls**t that has ensnared all of us. Political crap, financial garbage, energy screw YOU, the whole nine yards. That has monopolized a good deal of everyone's time, including mine.
On the brighter side though, it gives me great pleasure to announce that I have just finished editing the screenplay for my book, "Dragon, Book Of Shang". My partner and west coast counter part, Dan D, has done a magnificent job putting the screenplay together. Matter of fact, he did such a great job that some studio should be all over this before the holidays. Unless of course they are having major financial probs like all of us. Once this hits the silver screen, it will have YOU begging for the second and third books and movies. YOU can bank that!
Now that the screenplay is a wrap pretty much, I can get on with book 2. I have been making notes and researching and have at least the first 4-5 chapters laid out already. I am thoroughly excited about getting into book 2 full tilt. By the way, if for some reason YOU have not gotten a copy of the book yet, what are YOU waiting for? It would make a great gift for the holidays. YOU would then know what everyone else that has read the book knows, Shang is not Puff, Eragon, or any other light weight fantasy dragon. "Dragon, Book Of Shang" continues to generate quite a buzz from the souls that have read it so far.
"After reading "Dragon, Book Of Shang", I was totally amazed at what a great job, Bobby Sharpe the author, did on his first crack at writing". The story line is compelling and, the characters, including the dragon, are developed in such a way that you feel connected to all of them. It is quite graphic, but, leaves alot to your imagination. "I cannot wait for the next book in the series"! If the story of Iyce is anything close to Shang's story, "we have another winner"!

Earlier today, after having a chance meeting with a higher up in the "FOX Entertainment Group", it gives me great pleasure to know that a copy of "Dragon, Book Of Shang" is on its way to Hollywood. Hopefully, someone will have the good fortune and insight to want to take this story to the next level. "Dragon, Book Of Shang" has been out now for almost four and half months. I have personally sold quite a few copies and just ordered a shipment for waiting orders. The first full quarter just ended today and I should have a quarterly statement in August sometime. It will be interesting to see what sort of sales are occurring online etc. It must be nice to have all that money where YOU can buy half and full page adds in newspapers and magazines. However, since I don't I have to depend on YOU and word of mouth.

"Hey Bobby, just wanted to let you know, I took your book, "Dragon, Book Of Shang" to Hawaii with me. Figured I would read some of it on the flight over and back. Didn't work, I finished it on the way over! I could not put it down! For your first novel, you nailed it. Didn't know you had it in you. By the end of the book, I felt attached to all the human characters as well as the dragon. Great story line! Can't wait for the follow up. What a ride!

As the full moon reflected off the calm bayou waters, it's light silhouetted the small house boat that was docked and moored at the end of a small narrow pier a matter of yards from the shoreline.
Suddenly, the house boat was jolted viciously as if it had been hit broad side by a giant battering ram. It listed to the shore side before settling back flat on the water.
"Goddammit, what the hell was that" said the old man as he picked himself up from the boats floor. Having been thrown to the ground from his bunk by the sudden impact on his house boat, he was a little annoyed and perplexed as to what was going on.

A quick note on the book content. This book is NOT for young kids. If it were a movie, it would probably, at best, be a PG-13. More than likely, an R. This is based on profanity, real graphic dragon inflicted violence, some pertinent "adult romantic sexuality". All of these things are integral to the story. Nothing is "just gratuitous".

The fishermen saw nothing unusual at first. They all piled out of the truck to prepare for the morning fishing. The kids prepared to take their morning dip and just be kids having some fun.
As they all started walking toward the placid water, the mist and low fog started to lift. As the group suddenly stopped, two of the boys headed to their favorite tree.

The fishermens eyes became wide with disbelief. From a few feet back, to the waters edge, the ground was littered with partial fish skeletons, empty turtle shells, skeletons of birds and skeletons of some of the small animals that drink and feed from the lake.
As the astonished fishermen stood perspiring with fear, they heard two splashes in the water nearby. The two young boys had either not seen the skeletal remains, or, paid them no attention. They just wanted their morning swim.
As the fishermen ran to where the boys had jumped into the water, they yelled for the boys to get out.
As the boys reached the edge of the water, they suddenly doubled over and let out unearthly screams. They both fell on the sandy ground writhing in agony. Just as the men started to reach for them, they froze. As the two boys lay stretched out, their flesh started to desintegrate exposing their bones.
Within minutes, there was nothing left except the skeletal remains of the two. Skin, hair and organs were all gone. The rest of the group stood wailing and screaming in agony. Some were doubled over and throwing up after witnessing the grotesque sight before them. They were overcome with horror and fear. How could this have happened? What caused this, they wondered.
